If you are seeing lfd status as failed in WHM >> Server Status, and lfd is working fine in the server (you can check this from cli, using "service lfd status"), then you should update the CSF version to the latest. This will fix the issue with the lfd status.

Just issue csf -u in cli to update CSF version.
