I have sites running mambo and phpbb but I'm having a few issues recieving mail from these cms systems.
Let me describe the issue:
If I have a email account that is local domain example. webmaster@money-chat.com and someone replys to a thread in phpbb it will not send mail to my account. But if I have an external email example *@yahoo.com will send the same message ok.
Something that may be causing an issue is I am redirecting my mx records for the root domain to anther email provider (Fusemail) I have no issues getting mail sent from other addresses because the DNS records do indicate the unique dns record but seems like the internal sendmail agent on the server does not look at the external mx record to send the mail that (looks local)
Thanks in advance.

I have also tried to do a email trace from my cpanel and when I do a yahoo or any other email address (not being hosted with ahosting.biz) i get an error and does not complete the trace.
Seems to an issue with remote hosted mx records from what I see at this point in time. I don't use local mx records and point my mx records to mx.fusemail.net

Hi ,
We have corrected the issue .Now the mail send to money-chat.com ,within the server will also be routed to the external mail server fusemail.net .
We had to make a few changes in some configuration files to correct this .So far mail send to money-chat.com from the server was routed locally .

That worked!

How about my ohter sites where the mx record is hosted remotely? Over time I will be continuing to add sites and will continue to use fusemail as my external mx records. Will you have to do this on all my sites or something that I could edit as I add a domain?
thanks

Yes I will be adding domains daily...Originally posted by Samuel@Aug 9 2004, 10:42 PM
Hi,
Yout other domains? Please advise
Thanks
Samuel
I have 13 online currently and I will all be using mx.fusemail.net as remote mx record.
What you did to fix money-chat would you have to do the same on all of my domains?
Or is it something I can do?
